Beam Mobility signs an MOU with Kongju University College of Engineering Student Association

BeamMobility announced that it has signed an MOU with Kongju University College ofEngineering Student Association for shared e-scooter operation at Kongju University Cheonan Campus.

Through this agreement, Beam Mobility will provide special promotion fare for the users in Kongju University Cheonan Campus and will also conduct activities to establish safety and parking order in the campus.

Along with a speed limit of 25km/h within the campus, the operator will allow only the users who have verified themselves through either telecommunication verification service PASS or driver’s license authentication. Furthermore, BeamMobility will make efforts to establish a sound e-scooter culture on campus by designating a Beam credit reward place for parking in areas of high demand -such as engineering centers in campus - and establish parking spaces in open areas near the main gate and back gate. 

In addition, Beam Mobility will conduct campaigns to establish a safe driving and proper parking culture through regular online and offline education. The operator also plans to conduct activities for Kongju University engineering students including a student reporter program and e-scooter battery charging part-time jobs within the campus.

Heesu Kang, General Manager of Beam Mobility Korea, said,

“It is a great pleasure to announce that Beam Mobility now provides convenient mobility service for Kongju University Cheonan Campus with reasonable price,” and added, “Beam Mobility will endeavour to settle a convenient and safe personal mobility culture through active cooperation with other parties.”

Meanwhile, Beam Mobility has made MOUs with the student associations of major universities in Korea including Hanyang University Graduate School Student Union and Konkuk University Student WelfareCommittee to establish a sound e-scooter culture within the campuses.
