This Helmet Safety Awareness Week 21 - 27 September, riders can check their helmet, snap a selfie and be rewarded.

A properly fitted helmet should be part of every e-scooter trip. That’s why, for Helmet Safety Awareness Week running 21 - 27 September, we’re encouraging riders to take our 5-Second Helmet Check before they ride.

It’s simple:

• Fit it: Keep your helmet flat and level, about two fingers above your eyebrows.
• Buckle it: Secure the chin strap, leaving only 1–2 fingers of room.
• Shake it: Give your head a quick shake. If the helmet moves, adjust the fit.
• Snap it: Take your helmet selfie in the Beam app and you’re ready to ride.

Check your helmet, get rewarded

Riders who complete their helmet selfie can receive 50 cents off each trip and go into the running to win $500 in Beam ride credit.
