[11 September 2022] We are excited to have officially launched our e-scooters in Ampang Jaya! Alongside the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ), Beam Mobility Malaysia Sdn Bhd had the opportunity to guide the local councils and communities on how to Beam safely.

Ampang Jaya is one of the most densely populated areas Selangor which makes our e-scooters well suited to improve access to public transport nodes in this city.  First time riders can also catch us at Ampang Jaya Car Free Days which takes place every 2nd Sunday of the month, a recurring event that celebrates and promotes zero-emission vehicles, public transports, and most definitely - e-scooters! Our service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with simple steps to activate the e-scooter through our Beam app.

• Partnership for Low Carbon: Beam is the city council’s electric micromobility partner and part of the city’s Low Carbon City Action Plan.
• Personal Accident Insurance: Every rider will be covered by Beam’s personal accident insurance.
• Virtual Docking: Fixed ‘virtual’ parking docks will be seen within the app, with riders directed to appropriate parking spots through a combination of guidance, incentives, and disincentives.
• Beam Safe Academy: The Beam Safe Academy is a safety program that incorporates an interactive safety quiz and a launchbriefing guide for new users. Riders are to complete the in-app safety quiz as our means of self-training on safe-riding etiquette.
