1. Promoter: This competition is promoted by Beam Mobility Australia Pty Ltd (”Beam”, “us”, “we” or “our”).
2. Competition Period: The competition period runs from 11 May 2025 to 18 May 2025.  No entries will be accepted after midnight on the last day of the competition period.
3. Who can enter: You are entitled to participate in this competition if you are a natural person who is at least 16 years old residing in Australia and you are a Beam customer with an account in the Beam mobile app.  Also, you may NOT participate if you are a supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition, or if you are a director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to Beam or any other entity directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by Beam, or if you are any of the aforementioned persons’ spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister or business partner.
4. How to enter:  To participate, you need to complete Beam’s ‘Road Safety Week 2025 Beam Safe Academy  Quiz’ (“the Quiz”) and confirm your email address and/or mobile number as associated with your Beam account.  Note that closing your Beam account after entering will result in your entry being discarded, and the entry will automatically be withdrawn from the competition. 
5. How many times you can enter:  You may only enter this competition once, by completing the Quiz as explained in point 4 above.  
6. No entry fees:  There are no entry fees to participate in the competition, and no additional charges involved in downloading Beam’s mobile app if you don’t yet have it (save for data charges imposed by your network operator). 
7. Prize:  60 minutes per week of free rides on Beam e-scooters and e-bikes anywhere in Australia, over a period of 6 months (valued at approximately AUD1,000).  The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. 
8. Winner: There will be 5 winners (each winning the prize detailed in point 7 above), who will be chosen randomly by lucky draw taken from the relevant competition entries.  The lucky draw will be conducted by us on or about 19 May 2025. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with any competition participant other than the winners. The winners will be notified via email or phone call and the prize ride credit automatically applied to their Beam app accounts. We may require the winners to provide us with additional information as we may reasonably require in order to determine the winners and to process and/or facilitate their acceptance and/or use of the prize. Should any winner fail to accept delivery of the prize (eg: if they’ve closed their Beam account since entering), that winner will forfeit the prize and we reserve the right to award the prize to another eligible entrant chosen by lucky draw as aforesaid. You may not win the prize if it is unlawful to give it to you (eg: you’re under age) and if you do win the prize under such circumstances, you will forfeit it.  The winners may be asked to participate in marketing activities, but they will be entitled to decline to do so.
9. Unforeseen events: In the event of unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to cancel this competition, or to change the rules at our discretion, or to change the prize at any time without notice to you.
10. Rules: By participating in this competition, you agree to all the Competition Rules set out above, without exception.  

Privacy: We collect your Quiz responses and email address or mobile number directly from you and we only use them internally. We use your Quiz responses to verify your entry into this competition and we use your email address or mobile number to verify your competition eligibility and for purposes of allocating your prize ride credit properly should you be a winner. We then retain this data for any statutorily-required period. We may also use your Quiz responses for general service improvement purposes (eg: to make customer safety training improvements). Your data is otherwise processed in accordance with Beam’s Privacy Policy.
