  • First partnership on Green Mobility for Kasetsart University

[23 June 2023] Beam Mobility Thailand, a leading provider of shared e-scooters in the Asia Pacific, was at Kasetsart University on 16 June 2023 as part of the partnership launch ceremony. Present was Dr Chongrak Watcharinrat, President of Kasetsart University, and Dr Damrong Sripraram, Vice President for Administration at Kasetsart University. The two companies joined hands as a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony for Beam Mobility to provide e-scooter services.

The introduction of Beam's e-scooters at Kasetsart University will provide a convenient and eco-friendly transportation solution for students, faculty members, and visitors within the campus. With the company's commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable mobility, this move aligns with the university's and state government’s vision of fostering a greener and more accessible campus environment.

Kasetsart University has been promoting sustainability alongside its goals to be a green, digital, happy, and world class university.

"These are very ambitious goals - and I am very happy Kasetsart University has chosen Beam as a partner to achieve these goals. Beam is the largest shared micro mobility service in the Asia Pacific with presence in 8 countries, most known for our purple Electric Scooters," said Justin Tiew, General Manager of Beam Mobility Thailand.

The launch of Beam Mobility's services at Kasetsart University represents a significant milestone for the company as it continues to expand its presence in East Malaysia and support sustainable transportation options. By providing efficient and eco-friendly mobility solutions, Beam aims to create a positive impact on the environment and enhance the overall transportation experience for students and tourists alike.
